Each of Morgan's six levels builds upon the concepts presented in the previous one. We suggest that you go through the levels in sequence, and take the quiz on page 10 before proceeding to the next level.

The Morgan Tutorial was developed by Drs. Mary Gribbin and William Sofer of Rutgers University. It is dedicated to Thomas Hunt Morgan who, utilizing Drosophila melanogaster as an experimental organism, discovered many of the fundamental principles of modern genetics.
